We popped in early on a Saturday evening and within the first twenty minutes of being there more then half of the tables were full and it was only 6:00pm. Immediately it was very clear that this is the spot for locals as each was greated by name from the hostess and also by someone who appeared to be a possible owner.
While absorbing the menu we sipped a glass of pinot noir and noshed on a basket full of toasted baguettes and a warmed jalapeno cornbread that had just enough zing to leave you wanting another bite. The menu has a fantastic selection of tapas, salads and also offered some entree selections for those with a bigger appetite. We opted for tapas only since we wanted a larger selection of what the menu had to offer. Shown above is the Rosemary Baby Lamb Chops and Diver Scallop Combo. Shown below is the Seafood Sampler which consisted of Blackened Scallops, Marinated shrimp and Baked Lobster with Brie. The blackend diver scallops were served over a fresh mango, corn jalapeno salad, the marinated shrimp was served over a house made pico de gallo and the lobster was loaded with a creamy brie.
Our second selection of food was a special being served of shrimp cocktail, lump crab meat over diced avacado and tomato and lobster claw over a remoulade sauce . ( Shown below)
To add to our amazing experience we also had a Roasted Beet and Almond Crusted Brie Salad. This dish is poached pears, baby spinach, red and yellow beets and topped with a champagne hazelnut dressing that was out of this world! ( Shown Below)
No evening ut would be complete without a sugary treat at the end. We had the blueberry cobbler ala mode ...I think the photo says it all.
Stop in, I promish you will be happy you did!
